Discovered Imogen Heap by accident...wow! Any fans here?

The other night, my older son was searching for a song he likes on Spotify called "Hideaway."

He just typed the first few letters and Spotify found it. He tapped on it and the song started playing.

Well, after the song ended, the next song up in the search results was "Hide and Seek" by Imogen Heap. As soon as it started, I was mesmerized. I asked my son who it was and he told me. I had heard of her before, but didn't know much beyond just having heard the name before.

Anyway, that particular song ("Hide and Seek") has almost 24 million plays on Spotify. I'm just trying to listen to her stuff on Spotify right now as I type this. Anybody have any recommendations?

Thanks.

Beck (the real Beck) is a big fan and has had her out live and on record I believe as well.
She might be on the ronnie scott video.

I'm going to Beck here in Houston in October.

She is on the video. Jeff Beck seems so short standing next to her. Joss Stone too.

Okay, wait. Which Beck are we talking about now (ie, the real Beck)?

I'm going to "I'm a loser so why don't you kill me" Beck. Is that the real Beck? Or is Jeff Beck the real Beck?

And, while we're at it, can you see the real me? Can you? Can you?

Beck (Guero) has proved what an excellent artist he is, but when someone says, "Beck" I think of the one and only Jeff!

Love her. The first song I knew was "Come Here Boy," (still a great song ) then on from there. The Frou Frou stuff too. A really talented woman.

Let's all go to, the magician's birthday...
I played the hell out of one of their albums when I was about 14.... kind of never listened to them again for whatever reason. Triggers a memory of little speakers I'd taken out of various defunct appliances and strung together around my room (can't remember whether in series or parallel.) Sounded absolutely awful, but fun to have sound coming from "everyplace."

I heard "hide and seek" on the local radio station and started looking her up.
Fascinating singer.

I like her stuff. The performance at Ronnie Scott's with Beck (the only one) was ok but I prefer her doing her own stuff.

don't much care for the breathy vocal delivery but I bet she's got a nice voice if she would let loose.

otoh, Beck's playing is EXQUISITE in that video. man.

This is a great video with Jeff Beck and Joss Stone. Love it when Beck does "People get Ready."
