Is there a way to search just a single web page?

Like say I just wanted to search a topic on this forum.

Lets say, for example its got 20 posts in this topic and they were all really, really, really long with lots of details. I dont want to go thru every single post to find what I was looking for.

Is there a way to limit my search to just the single open page?

TIA

Also in iOS Safari, type the word you want to search for at the top, then scroll the results down and at the bottom, you will see find "xxxxx" on this page.

Ken: Where do you type the search word? In the URL box? That didn't work for me.

Control-F pops up a search box in browsers. It's an edit function rather than using a search engine. that's where you type your term.

Of course, you CAN just type it into Google like this:

Took me a while to see it JEBB...in Firefox it's a popup at the bottom of the browser screen.

Yes, in the URL bar. Once you have your word, scroll down on the auto populated results, and you will see the "on this page" search. This is iOS Safari.

command-f , i.e. browser search?

I've been doing this for many years.

Command-G takes you to the next occurrence...

yeah, Ive just never needed the function until just recently searching a site for some research.

I used chrome, which comes up in the upper right corner like safari, but its a little cleaner.
