So, are you dressing up for Halloween?

Got anything interesting planned for Halloween? Let us know.

A side question, does anybody do bobbing for apples any more? When I was a kid it was mandatory at parties and they even had coins inside the apples as a reward.

I'm going as a grouchy middle aged overweight white man handing out candy that I can't eat because of Diabetes.

Same outfit I have on the rest of the year too !

Haven't decided what I'm going to dress up for Halloween. I suppose I'll just see what needs dressing up that day and take it from there.

Boy/Girl twins are Luke and Leia, so obviously I'll have to throw on a Darth Vader mask.

I'm going to the State Fair that afternoon and evening. I'm gonna wear my straw hat so I'll blend right in with the locals. Let my neighbors support the local dentistry cabal.

Gyro and an elephant ear - YUM!

G. Bobbing for Apples is long gone. Last time I saw it at a Halloween party was in Cub Scouts 12 years ago. The kids were all like ... what the heck is this ? No, not doing it !

I think the prospect of a bucket of backwash coupled with cold and flu season (and of course eeeboooolaaaa) has put paid to that tradition.

Our cub scouts are bobbing for donuts at their party on Sunday. I think they hang them from a string.

I usually dress as food, last year I had Antlers, a brown sweat shirt, and tons
of the little mini chocolate bars pinned on me.

I was a "chocolate moose"

This year, I hope this is not too old for people to understand, but I want my
wife and I to be Donny and Cher.
I am almost a foot taller, so I will wear a dress and a long wig, while my wife has
a mustache.

No. He was easily distracted, hence the tree.

They're having a costume day at work, so I thought I'd just wear one of these (bonus point if you can guess my profession)

I just gave up trying to convince my parade-mate to do an ebola-theme (it's legit now that NYC has its own patient). We both have infra-red thermometers with lasers. I pitched it as: We get face masks, use the thermometers, point it at people and give them a glow-stick (cost 10ยข a piece) saying either "You're negative. Hold onto this so the Obamacare Death Squads won't sweep you up" or "Hold this, the Obamacare ambulance squads will know who to pick up".

She refused. "I want to be a cuddly chipmunk. Or maybe something with fairy wings." (Party pooper).

He's going as Mark Knopfler(handing out fake money and photos of chicks just in case people don't get it) and I'm an ear of corn(no our costumes are not supposed to be related). We are participating in a costumed kayak parade followed by a music themed halloween party. At the latter, I'll have a sign that says "with a K". At the former, "an ear to the ocean".

May dress up at work on Friday, and/or for trick or treating with our "niece and nephew". You're never too old, IMO smiling smiley

My friend and I are going to Disneyland for the Halloween Party.

I have a full length red sequined dress, and a red witch hat that I have decorated with spider webs (and it's very own spider, who also has his own witch's hat).

The dress is so sparkly I was considering going as a float from the Electrical Parade but the Red Witch won out.
