It sucks seeing all these musicians that I grew up listening to dropping dead like flies.

I loved Jack and his music, but come on, he looked "dead" even when he was working!

Roger Waters of Pink Floyd recently called Mr. Bruce “probably the most musically gifted bass player who’s ever been.”

I'm afraid watching the 2005 reunion footage to find out who he was is about on a par with watching the super bowl to find out what was so great about The Who...

Agreed. This clip with Jack and Rory Gallagher is certainly better, though Rory was not in great health at this point. That's Jack teaching the song to Rory seconds before they take the stage, by the way:
