i've had an audible subscription off and on for the last 10 years. currently re-upped last month. i haven't looked at my local library because when i did years ago what little they had available online did not play nice for mac users. especially with the dominance of smartphone i imagine (and hope) that has changed but in the meantime Audible has won me over for ease of use. it's a well spent $15 a month for me.
