Interested to hear more about what if any software you use to process the images, storage (online or at home) down to printing and online display. Cheers!

Lightroom 4.

Then export using presets (for size & quality) to iPhoto, Flickr, Facebook, Mail and Here.

I use iPhoto as a repository for photos of mine and various images I collect from the ether. My end display is my TV via Apple TV. I don't believe I'll become a user of the new Photos app.

I don't use an app to archive my pics, I have an ancient file system that works for me.
I have redundant back-ups on external hard drives.

I rarely print an image but when I do Walgreens is a mile and a half down the street and Walmart is across the street from them but haven't tried them. Walgreens has freebies and discount codes all over.

Lightroom 5 if I want to sharpen/change contrast, lighten up an exposure ( I tend to underexpose to avoid blowouts, etc ) or fix perspective lens distortion. I can make some major boo-boos with a 10 mm lens. :-)
Even with the hash marks on in my viewfinder I'll get horizontal lines off a little bit. More than sometimes. Not always obvious on a 3.5 inch LCD screen. Can make ya seasick on a 27 inch screen.

The first thing I do is to back up my card. If I'm on location, I switch cards regularly, backing up one to my MBP while shooting with another. I do all my processing in Photoshop after inspecting and organizing in Bridge.
I back up my finished work to three external HD's.
