Monitor spanning is built in to the MacBook.

...or were you asking about the new I-Macs?

the new iMac has a mini-DVI out. I'm not familiar with the recent iMacs, but did the G5's have DVI out or only VGA, I thought it was only VGA.

It that's the case, and they get the hack to work, the new iMac may be everything I need and want!
