Apple Mail - Undelete button

Searched here and the only undelete posts were about loosing emails on an iphone.

Somehow my Delete key in Apple mail has now changed to UnDelete.

Any leads on how to get it back?

A rebuild and restart seems to have fixed it- The button now says Delete again.
