OK, now I'm worried. It kept telling me my CC# was invalid, but it was fine. Now I'm thinking this is a scam site. I really need to use the unique numbers my CC offers for shopping at these "unknown" sites.

Any one have a successful transaction?

> OK, now I'm worried...

The site has been around since 2004. It has what appears to be a legitimate Verisign response when I click on the seal. There's no BizRate ranking. They have an eBay store with a 99.5% positive rating. In a brief Google search, I did discover some complaints about long shipping times and defective merchandise. There's a poster on FW who really doesn't like them.

My impression is that while may not be a particularly good company, it is legit.

It's a popular item. If I recall correctly, it was one of the first USB gadgets out there. I think they first shipped right around the time that the multi-color iMacs were introduced.

If you're concerned about that vendor, maybe you should buy it from a different site.

Or... you could go in another drection (I'm not recommending any of these vendors)...

Maybe the USB Drumming-Santa:

Cute, but drop the PC "Holiday Tree" biz. It's a Christmas Tree. I'm not offended by Christmas Trees anymore than Christians are offended by Menorahs or Dreidels. But when people call a Cristmas Tree, a Holiday Tree, it just confuses me. Who's Holiday Tree is it? It certainly isn't mine. Don't know any Buddists who have Holiday Trees. True Athetists wouldn't dare. Muslims? Don't think so. Hindus. Nah. Really can't think of any other religion that uses Holiday Trees other than Christians. So why not call it what its always, and properly, been called: a Christmas Tree. Saying "Holiday Tree" just sounds silly.

Christmas trees are Pagan.
I love Christmas trees, just not at work, or in government facilities.

If the iTunes Visualizer could run this thing, that would be cool.

It's not even Halloween yet !

How about Giftmas Tree.
That's what the X-mas consumerist holiday has become.

Well, to me a Christmas tree is a large, live or artificial tree on which you hang ornaments.

This is a "lighted, USB-powered novelty tree" if you want to get technical.
