Recovered Files from TRASH after REBOOT..

Every once in awhile when I reboot my Mac Mini, I notice files in a "Recovered Files" Folder in the TRASH, I typically just delete it. I was curious what was being recovered so I pulled it out to look inside and saw a dozen plus files of imageCacheMAXXXXX (XXXXX = some number). I dragged the files into GrapicConverter and found all of the files to be of the same topic, paper cutout artwork. Bizarre. I have no idea where those came from, never seen any of it before, even in any browser. Thoughts on what that is? I plan to spot check the recovered files occassionally to take a look...

Why would I have recovered files anyway? I typically make sure all programs are not running when I select RESTART or SHUTDOWN.

Those files are from caches that are cleaned out at shutdown or startup. Not to worry. Apple has a KB article about this.

I get the same thing from my aol e-mail with images.

Curiously enough, this has started happening on my Mini, too. Is this the result of an update? I've owned this machine for at least a year and don't recall ever witnessing this behavior except in the last couple months or so.
