C'mon I am pssed. Where is Firefox spell checker?

I only uploaded it for that option and I do not have a right click. It redlines misspellings but then what? Control click does nothing.

Control click works ok here..i have a right click but i tested it and it works fine


what i want to know is how to get firefox into my apps folder and off my desktop...downloaded it>diskimage>get it off my desktop.

never used ff before, seems very nice so far

Kraniac; To get it off your desktop, do what the open window in the disk image says...
Drag FireFox to your Applications Folder..

Now you can un-mount the disk image, and throw the .dmg file away.


'Mint;

When I mis-type a word in Firefox, I can control-click (or right-click if I'm using a two-button mouse) on the red-underlined word, and a menu pops up with options, including some suggested spellings.

I didn't have to DO anything to turn this on.. it just was.

D'OH!

I don't remember ever turning that on... it just started working...

Must have been my cat. He has spelling problems (no opposable thumbs, and all...)

If I had a dollar for every time I saw a Mac user running Firefox off the disk image, I'd be a pretty rich man. Sad, but true.

Probably a dumb question...
But since you checked the preference pointed out by grad, have you quit and restarted Firefox?

Maybe also try a repair permissions? (though I doubt it would do anything... it never hurts...)

It won't load. 10.2.8 G3 iBook. Had to trash it and .dmg. Back to 1.07.
