Gasoline...Falling Like A Rock In My Area...How About Where You Live?

I saw a blurb on FB earlier this afternoon from a friend who said she noticed gas was $1.75 on the other side of the county, about 15 miles from me. We're still at $2.39 in my little one traffic light town, but apparently the prices are dropping in the next town over.

I just checked Gasbuddy, [www.gasbuddy.com] and they are now down to $1.65! eek2 smiley

What are you paying for gas these days in your area?

Mr. Lahey: A lot of people, don’t know how to drink. They drink against the grain of the liquor. And when you drink against the grain of the liquor? You lose.

Cheapest gas in Irvine, California is $2.79 at Costco.

All other gas stations in this area are between $3.09 and $3.53.

$2.97 in my little town but only $2.49 twenty-five miles north across the border in Oregon.

It's always been high here on the far northern CA coast.

Oh great so now airfare prices will go back down as well? Right?
And also the prices of local pizza and bagels that were raised because of high flour and dairy delivery costs. Looking forward to that too! *sarcasm*

Was $2.11 for almost two weeks and Friday when I filled up and got gas for the lawn mower tank.
Dropped to $2.05 over the weekend.

Diesel seems to be stuck at $2.38 and HHO hasn't budged from $1.89

Diesel was almost the same price as gas at some stations before I went on vacation in August.
Did we run out ? :-)

Even if we did, there'll be a lot of diesel available soon as people stop driving their VW TDI 2.0s.

2.15 for regular one town over in Amesbury, MA. Our one station here in Merrimac is 2.89 and over the river in Newburyport there's a Mobil station still pumping at 3.49! I don't know how they get any customers at that price but they do.

Don't get too excited. There will probably be a unscheduled shut down of a refinery for maintenance to get prices back up.

That happened in the midwest 2 months ago. Gas went up 50 cents/gal in one day.

$3.49 here!

Lack of infrastructure is expensive.
We have the same problem with natural gas in Winter here on the (North)East Coast being at the end of the natural gas pipe and being rationed the remaining expensive fumes.

Yes, exactly. It is a gas war in the Houghton Lake area. A check of MichiganGasPrices.com shows Houghton Lake is MUCH cheaper than anywhere else in the state.

As a matter of fact, as soon as you posted, most of Michigan got a $0.20 hike, courtesy of Greedway (Speedway).

It's still at $1.40 at one station in HL and a penny or two more at a couple of other stations there. And yeah, we got hit yesterday here in St. Helen with a dime increase to $2.49.
