haven't noticed one yet, but because I work at home, and my circle of family/friends are not likely to own one, I am not surprised.

Not up here living in the wilderness.

I'll probably see my first one when it gets delivered to my door in the not too distant future.

I've seen a handful. I'm not the most observant when it comes to watches.

I was just thinking about that the other day, I haven't see one out yet. Seems weird but maybe not paying that much attention, but living in phoenix and everyone wearing short sleeves almost year round you would think you would notice them.

I haven't seen anyone wearing an Apple watch while I've been out and about. Now that I think about it. MOST people I see are NOT wearing a watch at all anymore. Ask someone for the time and, they check their phone.

No Apple watches, but I don't pay attention to what people I encounter (mostly sales clerks these days) are wearing.

I did meet a student at WHRB Saturday with a new gold MacBook, replacing a 15" MBP that died. He loves the MacBoook; keeps the type on screen really, really small so he can run two windows side-by-side, and he types really, really fast on the thin keyboard. Both beyond my aging capabilities, I suspect.

I want to get my Maximilian radio watch repaired, but I have to send it to Germany, so of course I never get to.

Sorry for the off-topics.

I've seen a bunch, and a few used in conjunction with Apple Pay. The users I've been able to talk to have all given it good reviews.

I haven't seen one. Or perhaps I should say I haven't noticed one. A friend of mine who is a chef bought one but the face got smashed and it had to go back to Apple for six weeks and she was too mad to wear it after that.

Besides my son, I have at least 5 co-workers who wear an Apple watch. But even outside work, you'll see both Apple watches & the various Android watches commonly worn in the South Bay.

I only recall seeing one "in the wild", Tim Cook was wearing it when I attended the last Apple shareholder meeting.

But I really haven't been looking, so it's quite likely that I've missed some, especially here in Silicon Valley.

A couple of weeks ago, my family and I were enjoying our beverages at Swan Dive in Brooklyn. A glance down the line of picnic tables where we were seated revealed four—count 'em!—four people wearing Apple Watches.

Boom!

I've seen one on a TV show, but not in the wild, yet.

I don't look, but I do notice.

Mine gets noticed a lot, and it's surprises me a little.

You need to be hip-mo-tized... You've undoubtedly seen hundreds, if not thousands in them thar parts.

A co=worker of mine has had one since they first came out (she makes big bucks) and she likes it. I haven't really examined it closely because I know I will want one and can't afford it at the moment.

Funny thing is I just got a Pebble smart watch last week to help monitor my health and sleep patterns thru my iPhone 5s and at least 3 people have asked me "is that a Apple watch" since I got it.

I had a heck of a time pairing the Pebble to my iPhone and getting the Apps to talk to one another so I am reminded why Apple products carry a premium - they "just work" for the most part,

Maybe. I've had iOS apps that don't work in iOS devices, I'm sure there have been watch apps with problems as well.

Then again, Pebble on iOS is a kludge compared to Android. Apple simply doesn't give developers the same access to the system as their own internal teams. As such, the deck is stacked against non Apple developers and it really isn't fair to compare the two. Apple has rigged the systems to be favorable to itself. Closed systems and all that jazz.

I wear a rear view mirror on a little stalk on my riding glasses and for a brief period I had a few people call out to ask if it was Google Glass...

....the Pebble is much more functional with Android but perhaps that is due to the fact that Apple isn't as "cooperative" to allow them to makes stuff that works with their OS......
