Strange-iTunes thinks I moved countries

I upgraded to the newest version of iTunes 7.0.2 yesterday.
Being the cheapskate I am, I went to listen to see if this weeks free content was any good and there was nothing free---then I saw that for some strange reason I was in the Denmark iTunes store. Once I corrected it the free content was there, but it prompted me to update my Credit card info.

This update was very un-Apple like

Looks like I am not alone

I have seen this mentioned several places on the web now.

I didn't even upgrade (at least I didn't think I did) but the Japanese store came up for me last night. I tried to get the free Japanese download but it wouldn't let me.

Right after the upgrade iTunes thought I was in France ......... Sometimes I do want to download songs from another country. If political and tax issues can't make it work, I wish Apple would just make ALL music available in ALL stores. I will gladly pay 99 Euro cents for just the right song.

Oddly enough, I'm currently trying to figure out how to purchase US tunes in Germany. But my 7.0.2 update left me in the US sad smiley

I didn't upgrade and I had the German store last night. I hadn't visited the iTunes store in a few weeks and couldn't figure out why some of the stuff was written in German. Switched to USA and all is well again.
