Where you folks buying used phones?

I know someone in the market for a used iPhone.

There's eBay and craiglist of course (insert warnings), but are there other places to consider? "Safe" and easy would be preferable (non-techy buyer).

Not sure about iPhones, but there are occasional deals on Amazon Warehouse Deals. Returns are easy if the product doesn't live up to expectations.

I think someone here had a bad experience with Gazelle. The phone could not be activated because it had been sold before the previous owner's contract was finished. So phone not paid off by original owner. No help from Gazelle.
