I am searching for pretzels like my friends mother made in the early '80s and I cannot find anything that looks like it. it was leavened dough recipe, that much I know, baked (no lye dunk but it was in their somewhere, I think).

My mom used to make homemade bagels. I've never been able to find any that are as good.
