What's the consensus on TechTool Pro? MacHeist has it bundled with 7 other apps for a minimum of $15 (one of those 'donate for charity' events).

stuffit deluxe?? fetch?? GraphicConverter?

They're partying like it's 1999 over there!

I'm sure that package is worth $15, but I personally, do not want to do biz with operations like that unless they take paypal thereby keeping them completely in the dark about my important info.

And even then... I'd probably still decline - just don't need any of it

Graphic Converter is worth it. I already have a multi license though.

Meh. If you dont have a good backup system in place by now...

For me, if a drive needs TT run on it = not reliable = e-waste.

Freeway Pro is in there, and might be worth it to someone looking for a novice-friendly app for building websites. But I would be concerned that the bundle version might not be eligible for upgrade pricing down the road.

Ka,

I wouldn't worry about upgrade prices. At the price they charge for the bundle, it's cheap enough that you can use Freeway Pro and, when the time comes for an upgrade, wait until the next bundle deal. Same goes for the other apps.

GraphicConverter and Fetch are worth a $25 donation.

Was recently testing FTP software for cleaning out a folder with tens of thousands of temp files... Fetch beat Interarchy by an order of magnitude. (Cyberduck was not far behind.)

Thanks all for the input - a whopping 86% disapproval rating for TTP! Saved myself $15

I voted no, but after realizing that Freeway Pro was included in the bundle, I am having some second thoughts. I've been using Freeway Express for several years and have been happy with it.
