Contaminated food now trending in 12 states.

According to the CDC, all five people became sick between Nov. 18 and Nov. 26 after eating at Chipotle restaurants in Kansas, North Dakota, and Oklahoma.

All three people in Oklahoma who became ill ate at a single Chipotle location in the state. The North Dakotan traveled to Kansas during their exposure period and ate at the same Chipotle location as the Kansan who became ill.

The CDC says it’s unclear if the new illnesses are related to the larger E.coli outbreak currently affecting 52 people in California, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, and Washington.

You're missing out on more than dysentery.

They make good tasting food. Deadly as any other fast food, regardless of their much-ballyhooed meats, and that's even before the norovirus kicks in.

But delicious, with large portions.

One of the things I like about their burrito bowls is you can eat a lot of food, feel satiated, but not stuffed, feeling a food coma coming on, or like you need to sit for a while.

Chipotle has stopped selling carnitas, so that's a big strike.

Toss in the E.coli and norovirus problems and it seems even less attractive.

Since I won't be anywhere near $tevie's on Burrito night I guess I'll wait for Chick-fil-A, for now.

The biggest problem with their carnitas is the lack of hard fried bits. It's just kinda like pulled pork. It's still good, but not like real taqueria good.

I really don't need restaurants doing me any kind of healthy food "solids." I know the proper food to prepare for in-general eating. When I'm indulging. I'm ALL in that! My biggest pet-peeve are donut shops that skimp on glaze. Don't try to healthy up my donut!
