Tree is down, all other Xmas decorations are also put away.
It is not as much fun un-decorating as it us decorating. sad smiley

Lol. I try to avoid that, if at all possible.

Ours came down yesterday, my need for Claritin is over now until outdoor yard work starts in the spring.

We wait until Twelfth Night here.
If it were up to me it would be up on the 24th and down on the 26th or maybe 2 Jan.
Actually I'd be happy with a USB Christmas Tree.

My wife's grandmother always said it was bad luck to undecorate before New Years so we always wait. She must have been doing something right she lived to be 99 yo. We undecorated yesterday.

Got a start today taking down about half of the outdoor lights and some of the displays that cover various flat surfaces. Mostly those are stored in boxes that go into the back corner of the closet.

Tree stopped taking up water on NYE so I'll be OK getting it down in time for Friday's pickup. Don't know if She agrees with that, though. Rest of the stuff will come down over the next 10 days. We leave some things up rationalized as winter as much as Christmas.

My birthday is on Epiphany/twelfth night and I like to have the tree and decorations down before that, if I can get around to it. I have always hated having a BD so close to Xmas, so getting the decorations down before my BD helps, a little. The "this is a Xmas and BD gift" is the absolute worst thing ever. sad smiley

Inside and outside lights all down and put away, effective Jan 3rd. Kind of sad because it now looks so empty and drab. Weather kind of dictated taking down the outside lights before the electric cords all froze into the ground and the lights to the trees. That lead to taking down the inside lights an all the decorations, once my wife gets started there is no stopping, same way with putting them up.
