NFL Sunday - division playoffs (spoilers, or course)

Showdown in Charlotte getting underway. Both Panthers and Seahawks have 100% of the first strings healthy today. Beast Mode is back for Seattle.

Should be a fun one.

It's like the Seagulls have been on vacation for 3 weeks and forgot how to play.

No vested interest, as my AFC game was yesterday,
I just want to see a good game, love the strategies
needed to win a game.

Liked the good sportsmanship at the end, nothing ugly. And the Panthers earned their strut.

Definitely guessed the Steelers and Seahawks running out of steam. I am guessing it will be a Pats Cardinals Super Bowl. Those are the two most well rounded teams left and find ways to win, even if it is ugly.

No team seems dominant this year, even though Carolina had that great record. All are affected by injuries and/or large weaknesses. I thought that if any team had the potential for dominance in the playoffs it was Seattle. I've dumped that idea.

How was it not a fumble or lateral when Roethlisberger tossed the ball back on that 4th down play? They said he was down by contact, but he was still standing when he tossed it.

Surprised the Panthers took their foot off the gas. Patriots often get criticized by many for running up the score but I have no problem with it at the NFL level for paid professionals. Teams like Green Bay learned the hard way last year and Panthers almost had the same by getting complacent in the second half.

Big question for Seahawks is the fate of Lynch, he is older and has a $11 million cap hit next year. I don't see him going quietly. They just have too many key free agents to sign and one very unhappy Kam contract. It will be interesting what he has to say once he is no longer on the team since he was already one to speak fairly openly before.

I'd have prefered the Pats hosting the Steel Crew. Neither team was intimidating.

the results of the Seahawk game seemed to be an appropriate recap of their whole season.

It will all depend on what version of Manning shows up. Broncos defense should be more stout in dealing with Gronk. With Edelman back though, it will still be tough. Pats will sneak by with a field goal.

I am expecting the Cardinals vs. Panthers to start off slow and then end in an offensive blaze at the end.
