Anyone use Night Shift in IOS beta 9.3?

I've been using flux on my computer and really like it. Rumors are that the next IOS will have a similar feature called Night Shift, to tone down the blue light at night.

Anyone have access to this yet?

...but I'm really happy with f.lux and I imagine Night Shift will make it to 9.3 GM.

I've only had one hitch in the iOS git along and it was fixed with a subsequent upgrade almost before I knew I had a problem.

So when 9.3 is available for the masses, I'm in for Night Shift, if nothing else.

My son has been using it on 9.3 and loves the effect. I saw it and side-by-side, definitely had a warm white cast next to my iPhone.

As I stare into my devices in the wee hours, maybe it'll help reduce fatigue.. Let's see..

I'm definitely maintaining a regular, relatively normal sleep pattern since using f.lux for only a few days. I get sleepy instead of getting a second mental wind. One could probably work through the effect, as in working through Benadryl drowsiness. I don't want that to happen.

Five hours is still the maximum, so there other things to be worked on for that number to increase.

The f.lux app in OS X drops the color temperature down to 1900K. I don't know if Night Shift will do the same. It would be disappointing if it didn't get somewhere close.

Kate, since Night Shift is in the public beta, I think we can safely say it's not a rumor. It *could* still be pulled, but I think that would have happened in the developers beta.

Darn, my iPad and iPhone are both not new enough to use it. As for f.lux, can you tell me, if it is any different then changing the color temperature in the System Preferences->Displays->Calibrate?

It's more of a orangish kind of sunset color, set to certain times of day. I'm liking it a lot, hope the Apple one is as good.
