selling something to Japan on eBay

I have an item that is of interest to Japanese buyers.

Years ago, I did sell something to Japan, but didn't plan on it. As I recall it went smoothly. In this case, I would like to market to the Japanese market.

Is there something I should do, other than try to insert some Kanji into the ad? Communication would have to be in English, however, I don't know any Kanji characters, so I'll have to research that.

Hurts like a bastid...

Oh me, I just answered, and something messed up! Oh well, I've bought many things from eBay USA from Japan. Be careful of scams, you should be fine. I wouldn't use Japanese unless you really know how. English is fine.

Don't use Japanese, unless a native speaker wrote it for your situation. In Japan, Yahoo Auction (yahoo.co.jp) is much larger than eBay. We live in Japan and my son and his friend are running a small business of buying and selling with Yahoo. If you're interested in linking up with them, send me a PM.
