Convert MKV to MP4 without re-encoding?

Any simple way to do this on a Mac without re-encoding? MKV is just a wrapper. Inside it it could already be .mp4 video. We have a Smart TV that will play .mp4 videos off a thumbdrive, but not .mkv. (even if the .mkv video is encoded as an .mp4)

Lots of options to transcode, an to just re-wrap?

I use iVI Pro to do this. Transcodes, handles subtitles, and does auto lookup & tagging of metadata as well.

Another vote for IVI Pro.

Great program for putting files into iTunes along with adding the necessary metadata.

In IVI Pro, you'll want to be sure that you check the "Enable Pass Thru Conversion" in the Conversion section of the Preferences (see attached pic).

Good luck!

Thanks. I will try Subler for batches, but I found a way with QT7 Pro to convert where I can pass through video, and I can set the audio for what it currently is, and I think that doesn't re-encode. There is an option for passthrough on audio, but its grayed out when I try. Odd.
