10/40. I expected higher, I'm a little surprised.

High - Superiority
Low - Vanity

Yup, I own that.

If I wasn't so special I would hate to admit I got a 26. Lol
Some of the questions I didn't agree with either choice, so I would think my score could have easily been about 13 or so. smiling smiley

High in Authority, self sufficiency, superiority

You got a problem with that? tongue sticking out smiley

I read an article awhile back that suggested that the easiest test is to simply define narcissism and ask the person if he is one. The real thing will have no shame in it.

But if the narcissist wants something from you, he will convince you that he is simply misunderstood.

I, too, wasn't fond of some of the choices. Sometimes I felt I could have chosen either answer, others I felt neither choice fit me. I am an introvert, but not shy. I am pretty confident in my abilities. I can be assertive if I need to be, but tend to try to go with the flow.

The follow up were far more interesting - but they didn't score me. Too bad.

Females are expected to be narcissistic and less than truthful, so it was discounted to reflect that. Your adjusted score was 3.2/40 and that as it should be since we only are willing to pay you accordingly. Once Bernie's $ 15.00/hour wage kicks in, you get $ 9.60 and 12 hours unpaid maternity leave with no guarantee your job will be there once you stop suckling the kid.

It's the way things were meant to be.

I really needed "neither" or "not applicable" for some of those questions. For example, you can dislike taking orders without wanting to be the person in charge. And it would be more impressive without spelling errors. Nothing wrong with proofreading, dubious anonymous survey dudes.

These multiple choice tests are always lame in that they rarely offer enough choices. I've gotten so I tear through these things without worrying about whether or not I 'mean' what I'm saying because it's their fault for writing overly simplistic tests. Most of the time it just means I find out which Disney Princess or historical figure I would be, so it's not very imperative. This one supposedly matters a bit more to someone somewhere, but not to me. smiling smiley
