pqrst- we could, but many of us use stainless steel no spill coffee mugs. No nuking allowed !Quote

We had a similar problem in my office. We turned off the warming plate (not sure if yours can do that) and everyone uses the microwave to warm up coffee. Also saved us from burnt coffee taste.
