Not looking for a fight. Just posting apple gets bigger and who wants a phone that big? even the iPhone6 I think is too big. I want to be able to put a phone in a small pocket....and I have small ring size 5 hands

I can see how some people could use a tablet, big or small, with cell capability.

As far as a device that's principally a phone, I'm looking to upgrade my 5s to the new 5se or whatever it will be called.

Assuming there's going to be such an animal, of course.

Go the the Apple Store and see if they'll let you walk around the store with an untethered 6s. Get a feel for it. It's not a big phone and it's top notch. While you're there experience the iPad Pro's speakers with a movie (nobody listens to me when I say this is the boomiest sound in tablets).

My daughter loves her 6s but I'm happy with my 5c over the Razr with small keys I can't read.

My 6+ is about as big as I can stand. I have little hands. (And three children and no complaints from Management, so the junior high locker room nonsense can go pffft..)

Ugh. When the 5/5S came out everyone complained that apple was missing the boat cause their phones were too small.

So they make them bigger, 6/6S and everyone now complains they are too big.

I love my 6+. Go big or go home baby. Lol
I usually use my phone with a headset anyway, when I am talking on it, because I have a bad elbow and can't take holding any phone up to my heat for more than a minute, so bigger is good for me.
Now, there are a few times when the plus is a little large for whatever purse or pocket I need to stuff it into, but I can deal with that for the larger screen.

I LOVE my big screen Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and my iPhone 6s+. They both easily fit into the same pocket of the fishing shirts I commonly wear. Bigger screens = bigger keyboards (and the Note 3 has an alpha-numeric keyboard standard). Bigger phones also have room for bigger batteries; MUCH longer run times. I couldn't see myself going back to a small screen.

The iPhone 6 is already a bit big for me, I can't imagine using anything bigger, and I don't have small hands....

Oh, no, I get it. I have a 5s, wife has a 6 and it seems huge. I dont want a bigger phone.

But every time a new big phone came out 2 years ago thats all *anyone* could say. On every blog, on every tech site, everywhere.

I was skeptical at first, but I've found the only time I don't like my 6+ is when I'm carrying it around, and not wearing a jacket, or other outer layer with pockets.

Otherwise, the big screen makes it all worthwhile. It's also more pleasant to hold when on a call. My 5 seems like a toy now.

But, Apple could improve the screen/size ratio, as well as bump the resolution.

I'll believe the super phone when I see it.

And if it is true, product line bloat may be truly creeping into Apple again.

I like the pocketable size of my iphone 5. But now that I have an Apple Watch, I carry my phone around a lot less, which is good, and need to pull it out less, also good, and I can see the value of a much larger phone too, since that can be carried in a bag or pocket or left on a desk, etc., and used only when needed to actually read and do something.

These stopped being phones long ago, at this point "phones" are obsolete. These are portable personal computers, and larger portable personal computers will be useful to a lot of people.
