There is a catchphrase that has circulated through the Pac-10 for years, used for athletes (or coaches) who choke in clutch situations: it's called "Cougin' it", in honor of WSU.

I got my Masters from UW-- and we just called the WSU degrees Bachelors of Cowpies.

Same thing UW grads say to Harvard grads when China sells off their dollars and our economy collapses? Bill Gates dropped out of Harvard in '76, so maybe the snobs overrate the spoonfed education they get.

I have friends with UW degrees selling insurance and real estate. A lot of dropouts did better:

Universities are businesses, and having a piece of paper that says you know something is primarily a status symbol. I've had doctors that were quacks and caused me great harm, so a degree ain't necessarily a sign of wisdom.
