Looking for Linux recommendations .

I'm getting ready to play with the refurb ASUS P2001 All In One portable I bought. It sports an i5 processor, 8GB of RAM, a 5400 rpm 1TB HDD, a 21.5" touch screen, wireless mouse & keyboard, a five hour battery and, came with Win8 pre-installed. Keeping the touch screen functionality is NOT important. I have a legal Win7 I plan to install on one partition. Filliam H Muffman wondered about Hackintoshing it. Has anyone here ever done that on an ASUS AIO? I'm looking for recommendations on which of the many Linux flavors to install on a second partition. Do any Linux distros come close to the Mac UI? What say you Linux mavens? TIA!

Definitely install the current version of Linux Mint. It is based on Ubuntu but it has a much improved interface.

I've been playing with Linux in virtual machines. Ubuntu was super easy to install and looks nice. Debian asked a lot of questions but ultimately installed and looks nice. I'm just at the very beginning of learning about current day Linux distributions.

Ukulele music I couldn't find anywhere else.
