I did it! Ordered Treo 700P and KRZR K1m

I had an offer from Buy.com I couldn't refuse smiling smiley

Been wanting a Treo for a long time. Actually, if it wasn't for wanting the Palm PDA functions I would have gone with two KRZRs. What a beautiful phone.

As I always say, "that's just my opinion, I could be wrong."

GeneL, I just got a 700p a couple weeks ago and it is AMAZING! The ability to access just about any webpage from anywhere is phenomenal. Make sure you download the Google Maps mobile client. It works just like the desktop computer version--you can drag maps with the stylus, you can get directions, you can see satellite photos, *and* it gives you traffic conditions!

Enjoy it!

Thanks, The unDoug and Scooter.

I called Buy.com's customer service this morning to check on my order and the 700Ps were out of stocksad smiley They said I'd be getting it sometime next week. I can hardly wait.

I appreciate the Google Maps tip. The KRZR K1m has built-in GPS, but I haven't heard anything about that feature on the 700P.

The good news is that Sprint's online service is a lot cheaper than Cingular's. I hadn't really expected to be using it, but based on your comments, I think I'll give it a try.

Hey! chip…

are you saying eeew, good or eeew, bad?

I have no idea what CDMA and Motorola is supposed to indicate.

I do know that Sprint's high speed internet access is half the price of Cingular, which is definitely "a good thing!"
