We tried to get tix to the Monkees' 50 Anniversary Show...

Monkees were my first love in music, but I was never really hot to see the regrouping of the band. I might watch a video just out of curiosity.

I would try hard to see them with Nesmith. With only Tork and Dolenze, I'm not that interested, although I would go if they were close and cheap.

Actually, most of their hits were sung by Mickey. They play every year at the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival. I never did get to see them when Davey was still alive. Still haven't gone to see them, although I do like their music.

A very good friend sees them play at Epcot every year. Her husband is an employee of one of Disney's main contractors, and has employee passes.

Davy Jones was on Broadway in "Oliver!" when he was young.

Unfortunately he wasn't in the very original original Broadway cast which was transplanted from London (a long-running show featuring children has to keep replacing them), so he isn't on the album my parents had when I was a child.
