I just booked a round way trip to Seattle and if these fares had been in effect it would have saved more than half the cost.

It used to be that all of their flights in California were no more than $39.

BTW, I just bought some round trip tickets from Europe to US, and ticket prices were like this

Traveler 1: Adult $582.20
Flight: $177.00
Taxes and Fees: $405.20

crazy. taxes and fees more than 2x the cost of the flight itself.

I believe I've had this happen to me - and I called SWA and they gave me a credit for the difference. Not sure if they still do it but worth a shot!
