Portable Airport Express?

Is there any sort of battery powered hack for an Airport Express? I know they are considered portable since you can take them from one location to another and just plug them in, but I'd like to cut the cord and use it without having to plug it in to a wall outlet.

I'm thinking of something small so I can put it in an old portable radio case and stream to that.

Any ideas?

(Edit) SOME of the airport extremes can be run from POE (Power on Ethernet). I do recall seeing someone who had a USB powered router.

You DO realize that this is kind of odd, since ALL broadband services use some kind of modem that has a wall wart. Therefore you will have a plug to plug your Airport into.

Um, hello, WHAT cord?? There's no electrical cord with the Airport Express.

Thank you both for the input, but from what I've been able to determine so far, it looks like I'm exploring new territory with this project. It dawns on me now that I didn't mention that the reason I want to be able to move the Airport Express about independent of an outlet is so that I may attach it to portable powered speakers and listen to streaming audio from my computer as I move about in the house. I'm surprised that such an item doesn't already exist, but perhaps most people have access to a lot more outlets in their home then we have in this old farmhouse.

As for the "cut the cord” line from my original post, that was just a figure of speech chas_m, so don't get your panties in such a twist. Perhaps I underestimated the reading comprehension skills of some of the readers of the forum. I may have to edit the original post so as not to perpetuate this confusion.

My apologies for any inconvenience it may have caused you.
