geez, how many times times did they stop the clock to review plays?
and all those pooch punts by clemson, even after they scored a TD on the ensuing kick-off. i didn't quite get that. surprised the announcers didn't make a bigger deal about it...

I stopped paying attention on the 3rd quarter. Looks like the game got really good.

True, but 99% of that goes to pay Saban and his coaching staff.

Those platitudes about getting paid with tuition make me retch.

For every 'bama player who goes pro, 5 in up going back home with no marketable skills, and many of them return to impoverished families.

End the façade and pay the players, or at least have the honesty to admit that big-time colleges like Alabama and Clemson (and, yes, my employer, Florida) exploit these athletes for your entertainment pleasure.
