I hate to hear this. I sure had some classic roles that for sure.

Memorable in so many movies. I just watched Aliens recently and I'm sad that it might seem horribly inappropriate to repeat his most memorable quotes from that movie.

TMZ (for what that's worth) reports there was a stroke following heart surgery.

Wtf? I was just watching that tv series he did, or is doing, not sure if it's still on. A decent actor.

A relative died a year ago from contracting an infection in the hospital, it does happen. He was 53.

Hurts like a bastid...

It happens a lot—nosocomial infection rates are quite high:

One never knows, complications and unknowns. My wife passed in the hospital at age 55. It was a shock to all of us, including my SIL who is an MD. I hope that his wife and children will find much love and support.

He could pull off any kind of role. He put his all into every role. He was a really good actor. He still had a lot in the tank top.

This really, really sucks. Paxton was one of the best character actors of his generation, and by all accounts a great guy off-screen. One of the rare actors who was great fun to watch in no small part because he was obviously having a ball at work every day.

I think my high school buddies and I went to see Aliens a dozen times during the summer it was in theaters. We're still quoting Hudson to this day.
