FYI, if Google thinks your password has been compromised, it will log you out of all your Google apps

One device was on a vpn and using the chat app and the other was my Mac not on VPN accessing Gmail.
Google determined my account was compromised, it was not, and logged me out of all my Google apps. Then it forced me to enter a new password after I logged back in.

I had this happen when my helpful son changed my gmail password to help my wife, while I was sleeping. Had to go fix it everywhere.

And you know what ?

I'm cool with this.

You wouldn't be too cool with it if Google didn't accept your old password and locked you out.
