1st. Cadbury's Flake (English)
2nd. Toblerone (Swiss)
3rd. Aero bar (English)
4th. Cachet (Belgian)

Sadly, these aren't readily available in the US. I haven't yet found a US candy bar that even comes close to any of these.

Im not sure there is such a thing as a bad candy bar... except for something coffee flavored. blech.

I like them all. I prefer anything toffee.

I can't say any one is all-time since I switch between a few. Snickers, mix of M&M's plain and peanut, Reese's, Hershey's Almond, Kit Kat.

But more on point, I would have to say Goo Goo clusters are my current favorite. I almost needed an intervention during the Christmas holidays. eye twitch smiley

Oh, coffee crisp! Also whatchamacallit, take five, dark chocolate kit Kats,Reese's, or snickers, most anything dark chocolate.

For "better" chocolate I adore marzipan Ritter sport, any good dark chocolate with salt, nuts, cherries, hot peppers, etc. I eat a LOT of chocolate and get good deals on discontinued or expired products... so I'm eating a lot of Vosges or Chuao type excellent chocolate bars. I'm spoiled. Sometimes I make my own bars or slabs.... marshmallow almond pretzel with cacao nibs and crushed red pepper is a favorite.

You used to be able to find the real thing imported, but a year or so ago (and for no good reason) Hershey clamped down on that. I make it a point to load up anytime I'm out of the country.

Part of that is, if I recall correctly, Hershey's has a number of products that don't contain real chocolate. They have the solids, but have stripped out the cocoa butter, and are using hydrogenated vegetable oil. Cheap substitute, but a poor one. They aren't labeled "milk chocolate" but "chocolate candy"

You need to read the labels carefully. I've seen it a lot with cheap Easter candy too.

Normally its Kit Kat followed by Reese Cup but my local Meijer had one of those Buy 5 Get 5 free deals at the checkout so I picked up a few of my childhood favorite Payday. Been buying those lately when I crave a candy bar.

Can't stand typical "candy bars" but did have some Milka bars in Austria once that blew my mind, and I don't even like chocolate very much. Good chocolate and candy bars are mutually exclusive, I think.
