Panoramic digital cameras (not SLR digital?)

Is so are they any good? any experienced photographers out there that have used them? I think I would like one for these exotic vacations I have planned.

(exotic for me, that is)

Have any examples Samintx?
I just use a special tripod attachment to do that, then stitch together.

I can't carry a tripod where I'm going, anyway don't want to...yes, I have stitched together but want a panorama camera. I have a Samsung film camera that does well but don't want to carry film

Example of what? It is my choice whether where I'm going a tripod would be convenient? or what do you mean by "example".

This is the only one I can think comes close. Otherwise people usually stitch them together.

thanks. Looking at prices when the seller lists "import model" is that the "grey" non-USA warranty models? they have a way cheaper price but I want the USA Mfg warranty.

Example of the camera(s) you were looking at, but you weren't looking at any, my apologies Samintx.
That's a nice camera pRon, I have used it but I found a better panoramic effect by using a good panoramic disposable camera, and having them developed. It goes completely against my "Digital Future" plans, but the pictures look so much better.

do stores generally sell panoramic disposables? I think the ones I've seen here are just regular. Nothing that fancy.

Last time I did buy any it was in Albuquerque, New Mexico, at a Safeway.
I know, I am no help at all.

I'd rethink it--get a lightweight tripod.

Alternatively, there must be a digital camera with a really wide lens, or you could get a dSLR, and get a panoramic lens for it. Not cheap, though.

Disposable panorama cams just crop the image of a fisheye fixed lens. I'd go with maybe the compact digi Kodak (V705???) that has a 23mm wide end... or check THIS out: EDIT: BAD LINK, you need to select "New Photomerge" from the list (thanks Papercup) [movielibrary.lynda.com]

I'm making a new post for this Photoshop CS3 capability.
