You DEFINITELY win for STRANGE . . . and NOT in a GOOD WAY!

I simply can't (and won't) compete with that. The music means too much for me to desecrate . . .

How about Ashlie Amber Harris belting out a Dolly PArton classic along with many other Whitney Houston hits during her I Will ALways Love You tour on Celebrity Cruises ships around the world.

I've been obsessed with Neneh Cherry's "Buffalo Stance." Love those background girls! So goofy.

This immediately popped into my mind too. I only know it because my son nominated it as strangest video of the year on his facebook page.
On the other hand, it turns out that I like Bat for Lashes in spite of her weird name and videos.

Not as goofy as some others here, but strange enough, and my daughter was set designer for it.

If you can stomach it, at 48 seconds you can see my daughter flinging paint on Wayne Coyne's naked body.

This live performance from Bitter Ruin should get some attention:

Klaus Nomi - Lightning Strikes
[www.youtube.com]

Man Parrish brought Klaus in to record his last album, Simple Man, at my studio, A Step Above Recording, in NYC back in 81 or 82. I remember him as being a really nice guy and an extremely talented, theatrical, singer. We also worked with the Bowie horn section on a few projects as well. Unfortunately a number of very talented musicians and performers who were gay and into the club scene in NYC at the time passed away due to AIDS and Klaus was one of the first.
