iMac Windows Audio?

iMac 2GHz , Win XP Pro SP2, Boot Camp
I made the Mac Driver CD with boot camp, installed XP then installed the driver CD but I still have no sound in XP. Says sound card driver not installed.

In Device manager, under sound, video, and game controllers, I have six items, including "Legacy Audio Drivers". None of them have the little yellow/black warning icon.
I do have that warning icon on "Unknown device" and "PCI Device" under Other devices.
And I have another warning on one USB Human Interface Device.

Can anyone help me to get sound going on this beauty in windoze?

you aren't running Boot Camp.

You have booted into Windows.

Install the drivers again. Try uninstalling all the sound drivers and loading the drivers disc again.

See? Even Crapple computers and Crapple drivers do junky things.

I tried to delete "Legacy Audio Drivers" in Device Manager.
I get to "Legacy Audio Driver Properties" and under the Properties tab, I see a window with a Remove button and a Properties button.
There is an empty white area where I woudl expect to select the driver I'd want to remove.
I hit Remove anyway, but the Legacy Audio Driver item in the Device manager window is unaffected. Even after quiting device manager and reopening it, and after a restart.
No change after running a newly burned driver CD.

OK, never mind. After throwing out those items with warnings I did something that prompted the hardware wizard to download and install seome more stuff. Not sure if it came off the CD or online, but all's well now.

Thanks elmo, crap ignored.
