Can anybody provide me with an idea of how much it may cost for reupholstering the chair below with top grain leather? I am in eastern PA close to New Jersey. TIA

Upholstering with leather will cost more.
Figure about $125for half a hide from Radio Shack....

Most likely the chair structure itself won't be worth the cost. My FIL just retired, closing his custom upholstery shop after 44 years. He said people could by mass produced furniture for less than he could recover it. He said most stuff being made and sold today is junk.

He made our couch in 1993, it has been recovered twice and is like new.

Had a couple of headliners replaced, then had them reupholster my great uncle's old office chair, and repair a 30+ year old La-Z-Boy.
