Man, My iPhone 'S' is going nuts since that last update..

updated the other day and my iPhone S is going nuts on and off..was just outside answering a text and screens started changing, apps opening and closing..texts jumping round..general flashing around from place to place on the screen..really weird..

This has happened a few times and it generally feels sort of loopy throughout the day..

I assume you mean iPhone SE, not that it matters. If restarting doesn't work, you may need to do a factory reset which will erase all your data on the phone which you can restore from a backup. Or wait for the next big update and that might fix it.

The description matches the kind of stuff that I've seen when people have "cleaned" their screens with conductive glass-cleaner that left a residue.

my daughter's iphone 6s is also exhibiting all kinds of weirdness after the latest update.

the major problem seems to be a very much shortened battery life between charging.

she is barely getting 12hrs after a full charge and pre-update she was easily getting 24hrs between charges.

any insights, thoughts or suggestions would be helpful.

be well.

There was a problem with some of the 6S batteries. If you have one of the right serial numbers Apple will replace the battery for free.
Check it here [www.apple.com]
Mine didn't ever shut down and it held a charge pretty well, but with the new battery, it's definitely better.

Sorry..it's a 6s

I 've restarted many times since the update..

Haven't cleaned the screen with anything except a soft cloth

i noticed last night that when i walked outside..it was pretty cool out..this behavior started almost immediately..

when i couldn't get it to stop, i went back inside and it stopped after about 30-40 seconds or so...

Condensation on screen. Similar to touching a wet screen?

6s battery drain has been a known issues and at least it's been highlighted a few times on different sites. Both because of a defective battery and more recently because of iOS update. Some claim conspiracy on Apple's part, to get users to buy new phones. I don't believe this.

For the wonky iPhone 6s, are you the original owner? I've delt with third party bad battery replacements failing. Currently dealing with one in sons phone.

I'm still on 10.3.3 on my iPhone 7. Im in the wait and see camp when it comes to iOS updates.
Apple seems to mess things up when it comes to pushing out updates. The last one is good enough before the next version update. Then the process starts again. Updates to emojis seemed to be a priority to battery issues.
