Recommend USB 2.0 PCI card for Sawtooth G4 ?

So a relative has a new shuffle that she needs to use on her PowerMac G4, it's the 350MHz Sawtooth model with AGP graphics and PCI exansion slots. She puts the machine to sleep on a regular basis, so I would need a card that doesn't cause problems with that function. OS X 10.3.9, but I can install 10.4 if necessary.

This is so she can use the new iPod Shuffle with iTunes 7. Any suggestions on what brand/model to check out?

You will need 10.4 to get rid of the sleep issues, from what Ive read here and another source.

NEC chipset is what I have. I also have sleep issues, but that is not related to my computer. grinning smiley

AFAIK, there's not problem with most cards IF nothing's attached to the card, especially storage devices. I just leave an extension USB cord attached to mine, connect and disconnect devices as I need to use them, and have no problems with my G4 sleeping.
