album version=> [www.youtube.com]

live TV=> [www.youtube.com]

It was a big hit from the late 40's til the 60's. Now, it doesn't even make the list.
Spike Jones-City Slickers doing the original.

Not a Christmas song, but I remember playing Spike Jones over and over again on 78 RPM when I was a still a kid. I think it had a permanent effect.
This is the one I nearly wore out;
Spike.

I remember a high school Christmas skit. A teenaged female student came out and sang "All I want for Christmas is my two front...", all the while looking down at her (unendowed) chest.

"I'm Gettin' Nuttin' for Christmas" often gets an honorary play on the Hillbilly at Harvard Christmas Extravaganza (Four Hours of the Very Best and the Very Worst of Country Christmas Songs), as does "Two Front Teeth," and many others—this year December 23th, 9 AM Eastern).

Used to play the Barking Dogs when friends Larry and Jean would bring their Border Collie down, who would bark along with the song. Their current dog doesn't have that skill.

OMFG! I had NO idea that there were Spike Jones music movies! That's gonna waste an afternoon REAL soon. I'm a devotee to Dr Demento from way back in the '70s. I remember this young kid and his accordion playing My Bologana......... recorded in a men's room an UC San Luis Ibispo.
