You say 'deserve,' but I'm not sure that word means what you think it means.

They have had several close games and haven't stopped trying.

Nothing against the Browns and the fans but I see an 0-16 as a continuing regression from the NBA Championship Cleveland somehow came back from 0-3 to win. Since then, the sports gods are looking to rebalance itself with misery for Cleveland sports fans again. It started with the baseball team losing after being up 3-0 in the World Series. 0-16 for Browns and LeBron leaving at the end of the season.

Despite being a life-long-suffering fan, I can't bring myself to watch them when they are so reliably bad. I don't need the aggravation. I watched a couple sets of downs just now. Good heavens but that offense is awful. Fumble lost, one should-have-been an interception, one actual interception, several tackles for loss (which were probably more play-calling than execution), not a single completed forward pass. One lucky seam by the running back was the only highlight.

One might say my sample size is too small to judge, but I'll just point to the 0-15 soon to be -16 record if there are any doubts.

Well they did score 24 points. Did they actually DO something on offense or did the Steelers put in their practice team?

Might as well bring back Johnny Football. At least he was entertaining.

The Browns are masters of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. I went to a Steelers game against the Browns last year in Pittsburgh. It was almost 70F outside that day. The Steelers had their 3rd string team on the field and the Browns almost beat them. But they fumbled and intercepted their way to defeat in the final minutes of the game.

Subtract 65 degrees and you described today's game as well.
