......The Consumer Electronics Show, which showcases the technology of tomorrow, is experiencing problems with technology of the here and now. The central hall is experiencing a power outage, according to several social media posts.

The cause the power outage could not be immediately determined. Social media posts show booths completely in the dark.

There should be lots of battery powered electronics with backlit displays in that convention center to provide emergency lighting.
