Yea, I get their notes, Jacob Loeb has always been a negative nellie, he is an artist, not a tech. Any professional that doesn't test the waters is an idiot. The G4 laptops, and the G5 towers will not suddenly turn to dust at the end of the year. We still have four towers that are running OS9, and the software that only runs on OS9. I don't see those towers going away in the next three years.
Remember, PowerMax makes money in the upgrade business, not selling new Apple computers.

I dont think I have ever seen a good deal at PowerMax.

I got a very good deal from PowerMax on a pair of brand new iMac G5s in late 2004, and their customer service was excellent.

Like them, I'd sell Beiges for $300 as long as there are buyers willing to pay that price; wouldn't you, if you were in business to sell computers?
