Yes, I took pics of both Gold Medal Hockey games and each one did not go the USA's way.

Looks like Google still has some of my pics in the search [www.google.com]

Great game!

Had not watched hockey on my flat screen. Even with a less than HD NBCSPORTS ROKU channel, the puck was so easy to follow that the viewing was a delight!

That last goal by Jocelyn Lamoureu was genius!

I hate shootouts. I figure, why even bother to play the whole game if it comes down to a shootout? I'd rather see breaking a tie by playing, e.g., four players on each side in the first OT, then three players for each OT until the tie breaker is scored.

However, congratulations! I did not expect them to win and pleasantly surprised when I saw it this morning. I see one Canadian player took off her silver medal as soon as she could after the podium ceremony.

Go, ladies!

My project pulled me away from the last half of the game. I am thrilled the USA Women pulled it off against such a great team.

I believe there have been 6 Gold Medal Games, The USA won the 1998 in Nagano, Canada 4 in a row and then USA again yesterday. I hope they make it 4 in a row for the USA now winking smiley

Great job team!

If I had any sense at all I would have stayed up late drinking and watching this game. Really bummed I did not. Oh the problems of having a job in the morning (and no cable tv that gets me this channel or stream).

One thing about living Across The River from Canada is getting CBC. They are a great alternative to NBC and it's minions. They feature Canadian athletes, of course, but they do keep up with overall standings.

It's great to watch Hockey Night in Canada, especially during the playoffs, and Don Cherry is worth it. But he wasn't too kind about the Canadian men's hockey team. Not a friend of Bettman's either...

Watching CBC/SN hockey is like the difference between watching a high school football broadcast compared against an network TV NFL broadcast. Twice as many cameras and every camera man is better at the job than ANYONE in the US. Hockey is very hard to cover on TV. Canada does it best.

Local woman is a member of the team, family and friends are reported to be thrilled.

A guy I used to work with was a big hockey fan, and then ended up with 5 girls. So he passed on his enthusiasm to them and some of his daughters took up the sport. He got involved with coaching girls and women at the club and college level in this area. Getting a team member from this area on the US team is the result of those many years of building up hockey as also being a woman's sport. So I bet he is also very happy.

i don't have cable or OTA TV but i did watch the game. i signed up for FuboTV which is a streaming sports channel. basic account comes with 30 hours of cloud DVR. originally i was going to record the game and watch it the next day but i wound up watching it live.

FuboTV is pretty cool. there's a 7 day free trial and the first month is $20 so that's how i'm catching the Olympics. no need for it after that though my son may sign up for it later this year when the World Cup comes around.
