In desperation I turn to the forum... for a band name Date: March 13, 2018 03:42PM |
Sheesh.
My rehearsal quartet, with an added female vocalist, has copped a rare public gig this Sunday and it looks like it has fallen to me to post something on Facesit about it. We playa fair amount of bebop and reimagined standards, plus Megan's stuff.
I'd like to use NoPo (for N. Portland) in the name somehow, but I can't think of how to do that. I used to use The Rose City Rhythm Guild but I think it's too long and innocuous. And I let the domain name expire.
Added bonus! Free Radio Cab rolling papers if I use your name!!

Agreed! But just edit out "The" and "Guild" to make the name "Rose City Rhythm".
Any name that can be hummed along to Eleanor Rigby is a good thing

Rose City Rhythm Guild featuring Megan [surname] gets my vote!
Or, as 3d mentioned, it could be shortened to Rose City Rhythm, which also has a nice sound!
