Johnny Manziel taking responsibility for his actions by blaming the Browns

Yep, Johnny, NFL football is hard. Just keep blaming others for not preparing you. That will get you a chance with another team in no time.

“If Cleveland did any of their homework, they would have known that I was a guy that didn’t come in every day and watch film. I was a guy that didn’t really know the X’s and O’s of football,” said Manziel. “Nobody was there, like helping me go over the X’s and O’s, and it was hard. I struggled.”

So is J. Foosball our new Steve Ballmer? Just fun to make fun of? I miss Steve for that.

And his dancing.

wow. ohhhkay.
I'll be the first to admit the Browns are completely incompetent at running a football team. Their Perfect Record last year is proof of that. But... this... wow.

Good luck ever getting a fooball job after that little set of quotations.

From your link, Johnny tries to clarify his remarks in what appears to be throwing more gasoline on the fire he started. Johnny needs to realize his act wrote checks his playing couldn't cash. Now he is reminding all the NFL teams why having him on the team is a bad idea.

"Draft a QB in the first round and put him into a toxic Quarterback room vs. what it was like my second year with McCown. COMPLETELY different situation. It’s all about the right fit and mine in Cleveland wasn’t right. That’s just the facts. I also have nobody to blame but myself "

"Take it how you want I don’t really care. I’ll always feel some type of way"

Ballmer hasn't really done anything interesting after he bought the LA Clippers.

But it's the truth. He should not have even been a first rounder.

Well, the truth is that he's probably 100% right.

It just would have looked better for him if he said something about it being a bad fit and that he's now hoping to find a better fit. Or, better yet, would be if he said nothing about Cleveland at all.

But, he was an undisciplined player that went to a bad team with a bad coaching staff.

If a player like him went to a better team, with an established system and coaching staff, to be a backup for a couple years, he would have had a much better chance of a longer term career in the NFL.

What if he was drafted in the second or third round to be a backup in Pittsburgh, New England, Green Bay, or similar?

Instead, the Browns made a reach for an undisciplined player who had a little bit of celebrity around him, and they threw him into the middle of the long list of failed starting quarterbacks.

It's OK for NFL fans and analysts to say the Browns set him up to fail.

It just looks bad when he says it.

He has NO "good" Character. He is a waste of talent because he is perpetually a kid. He is not the first, just the most current.

...I was a guy that didn’t come in every day and watch film.
So, Texas A&M does not use game films in their program?
Did he even wonder why he was the only guy not in the film room everyday?
Hell, even the trainers watch game films!
