48 degrees in San Francisco. Apparently east is west, and west is east.

The trees are in bloom here in NJ. Wait until the first week of subzero temps. Ouch.

It is 68 degrees here in Atlanta and we are having thunderstorms, high winds, lightning, and tornado watches. Oh, joy.

50's and rain (again) in the midwest

As much as I am enjoying the break on the heating bill I think it's balancing out by the
water heater and dryer keeping muddy dog foot towels clean - back yard is a mess

I look forward to the blizzards that will inevitably come to New York City
in June.

59 degres here on the south coast of Ma.
ocean cooling SW wind.
Supposed to be even warmer Saturday.

We usually pay dearly for warm spells with equally unusual cold temps, eventually.

Amazing that Pacific ocean hot spots cause these anomallies. (on the East Coast)

It's a winter wonder land here in Southern Colorado. We've had maybe five inches of snow since I woke up this morning. Gotta say it's nice to work from home.

Cheers,

Shane

I've got to say that it's not a bad thing to have Nature blow our minds
occasionally with things like unusual weather. It reminds us who the
boss really is, not us teeny-weeny arrogant humans who would like to
control everything in the world for our convenience.

I have the worst sinus/throat/ear infection I've ever had, and I blame the mild weather for not freezing off some of the bugs.

It's only been cold enough here (Dallas) to warrant turning on the heat once this season. My recent electric bills have been like $30.

53 here in central Arkansas. We had a few nights of sub freezing (around 20 or so) but most days have been mild for this time of year.

There was some mention on NPR over the last few days about how it's been since the late 1800s that New York has had a snow-less November and December. (Did I hear that right?)

I heard on news radio this AM that it's been 130 years since we've been snow-free in NYC for so long.

A very wet snow started falling early this morning in Vancouver, British Columbia. I think it will be a centimeter or more before it stops.

Have already swept the porch once; it will need at least one more sweeping to be safe.

Skiers and boarders, get on up here. The lifts are just a public transportation journey away.

Sunny, mid 50s in the Inland Empire. Winds up to 50mph.

Local mountains got 1-2 inches of new snow last night, but too windy to go play. Maybe tomorrow.

They lied. :-)

But it was warm enough for them to be there as long as the supplies kept coming.
Sleeping with the sheep (for warmth and to protect them) doesn't sound like fun to me.

Not sure what the temperature was in Monrovia, CA but it was quite chilly and damn windy last night. So much creaking, clanking, squealing, etc. in our 100 year old house that I woke up in the middle of night to find out my S/O and our 12.5 lbs doggie had rested comfortably next to me on our 3.5 feet wide living room couch!
